About Hawk Mountain Lodge
Hawk Mountain Lodge is located in an historic home, built in the 1800’s which was once the home of Hartford Courant editor, Charles Dudley Warner. We purchased the property in 2003 and, after a major renovation, opened Hawk Mountain Lodge to guests in the spring of 2004.
When you visit us, you can choose from a two-room suite or one of four bedrooms with shared or hall bathrooms. Additional amenities include a comfortable common room with a variety of movies to watch, a spacious yard with a horseshoe pit, a volleyball court, tetherball and miles of hiking and biking trails.
Our lodging manager, Philip May, lives on site and is always happy to help guests find local adventures at Zoar Outdoor and elsewhere and recommend fun places to eat. Philip was the winner of the Pioneer Valley ’s 2006 “Hospitality Excellence Award” and is extremely knowledgeable about both local tips and history.
